This year 2019. No1

Greetings. Albert here. A closer inspection now the car was home followed. For a start the underbonnet wiring looked awful dodgy on the ignition circuit around the coil and distributor and coupled with it's unwillingness to fire readily when the engine was warm started me off on a mission to cure. Little did I know how long it would take...
Scotchloks here, Scotchloks there and Scotchloks behind the dash....Oh dear. First I tackled the ignition Scotchlokness. Hit trouble when I forgot which wire went where. A result of starting and not completing in a short time frame. Compounded this by removing the behind the dash birdsnest at the same time.. The colour coding of the cables didn't seem to quite match the SS1 wiring diagram either. I logged onto the Scimitar SS1 forum and gained enough knowledge from a couple of replies to connect the remaining wires in the right order. Hurray!!! Making proper soldered joins and adding waterproof connectors where needed.
