Just to see if the electrics are still functioning after my fiddling. I can report that there was no need for a breakdown truck being called......BUT.....no improvement on 'Hot Start' either.
However the Bacon Buttie purchased on route was most excellent..
Note to self - Must go out for breakfast more often.
